Trippie Redd was taken into custody on Friday (July 4) while trying to board a flight out of Miami International Airport.
According to NBC Miami, the 26-year-old rapper was arrested as he attempted to fly to France. An arrest report states that he was picked up on an active warrant issued by Miami-Dade County in 2023. While the specifics of the warrant haven’t been revealed yet, Redd was transported to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
The arrest comes just weeks after he and Coi Leray welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named Miyoco.
