Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano End Engagement, Say They’re Seeking ‘Peace and Fulfillment’

Blac Chyna and Derrick Milano are officially going their separate ways, marking the end of their engagement just in time for Independence Day.

After two years together and one year engaged, Chyna (real name Angela White) announced the split on Thursday (July 4) via her Instagram Stories. The couple had also appeared on season six of Love & Hip Hop: Miami.

“After much prayer and reflection, Derrick and I have decided to call off the engagement,” she wrote, according to TMZ. “We love each other deeply and remain close friends, but we believe God is leading us down different paths.”

She ended the post with: “May we find peace and fulfillment in His divine will, trusting that His plan is greater than our own.”

Milano had popped the question during Howard University’s homecoming last October, just a few months after Chyna celebrated their one-year anniversary online. Chyna shares two children from previous relationships — 12-year-old King Cairo with Tyga, and daughter Dream with Rob Kardashian.

Back in November, the couple appeared on Angela Yee’s Lip Service, where they confidently dismissed the idea of a prenup. Milano explained that both he and Chyna had their own assets and weren’t stressing over dividing anything. Chyna boldly added, “There won’t be a prenup… ‘cause we’re not getting divorced. That’s it.”
