21 Savage’s Leading By Example Foundation Kicks Off ‘Bank Account’ Financial Literacy Week

21 Savage is making sure high school kids stack paper in their “Bank Account.”

Named after his 2017 banger, 21’s Leading By Example Foundation launched its first-ever ‘Bank Account Financial Literacy Week’ teaming up with Dekalb Country Schools. Things kicked off this week with a live panel at Lithonia’s Miller Grove High School. According to press materials, the program aims to “educate and empower the next generation with essential financial knowledge.”

During the week, over 400 students from five local schools—including Salem Middle School, Panola Way Elementary School, Peachtree Middle School and Bethune Middle School—will dive into interactive financial literacy sessions designed to build solid money management skills.

Tailored to different age groups and grade levels, these 90-minute workshops feature demonstrations, guided talks and Q&A sessions. The week started with an educational panel featuring Danielle Ball, Executive Director of the Leading By Example Foundation, Tammy Brook, Founder/CEO of FYI Brand Group & Co-founder of Get to Yes Productions, and 21’s brother, Kimmuel Bryan-Joseph, who works as an accountant and AR Specialist.

This initiative comes about a year after the rapper’s foundation dropped a digital financial literacy workbook called Master Your Money: Financial Success 101 Guide With 21 Savage.
