6ix9ine says he plans to use his three-month prison sentence as a chance to drop 70 pounds.
Speaking to TMZ in Spanish after being sentenced for probation violations, the rapper said he felt Judge Engelmayer’s decision was fair. He also believes he’ll be placed in a secure housing unit because he’s labeled a “snitch,” so he isn’t worried about being attacked.
What he is focused on, however, is losing weight. 6ix9ine told TMZ he plans to go from 190 pounds down to 120 pounds by eating just one box of Oreos a day while behind bars.
On Friday (December 5), Judge Engelmayer sentenced him to three months in prison plus a year of supervised release. He must report on January 6.
During the sentencing hearing, 6ix9ine delivered an emotional plea for a lighter punishment, asking the judge to “walk a mile in [his] shoes” as he laid out the harassment and violence he’s faced since cooperating with federal authorities.
“Each scenario, I walked away,” he told the judge after describing incidents where he was challenged to fights or had a drink thrown at him at a 2021 UFC event. “How many times do I have to walk away for you guys to see it’s a pattern?”
He also said it’s been hard to work because “music execs” have “put a blackball” on him, making it difficult for him to perform.
“I need you to see the facts, and please have mercy,” he added. “I take full responsibility. But mental health is a real thing.”
