During a comedy actress roundtable organized by The Hollywood Reporter, Keke Palmer unexpectedly brought up the notorious viral shock video “2 Girls 1 Cup” while the group was discussing potty humor.
Palmer appeared alongside Saturday Night Live cast member Ashley Padilla, Hacks actress Hannah Einbinder, Abbott Elementary creator and star Quinta Brunson, I Love LA actress Rachel Sennott, and Friends and The Comeback star Lisa Kudrow. The conversation took an unexpected turn when Palmer referenced the infamous clip.
Around the 44-minute mark, Ashley Padilla was asked whether she has “a good appetite for, like, potty humor.” Padilla admitted that she’s never really been drawn to that type of comedy, though she praised her SNL co-star Sarah Sherman, saying she excels when it comes to gross-out humor.
“It must be on some ‘2 Girls 1 Cup,’” Palmer chimed in, immediately drawing laughs from Hannah Einbinder and Rachel Sennott. “Y’all remember that? We had no idea what we were being exposed to. We had no business seeing that. Somebody should’ve protected us!”
The comment quickly sent the roundtable into a frenzy, with everyone talking over one another. Einbinder jokingly suggested that Palmer should take her concerns to “the Senate floor” and advocate for “legislation” to shield people from ever stumbling across something like “2 Girls 1 Cup.”
For anyone fortunate enough to have missed it, “2 Girls 1 Cup” was a notorious shock video that spread rapidly across the internet in the late 2000s. The clip featured two women engaging in highly graphic and disturbing acts, making it one of the most infamous viral videos of its era.
The footage originated from an adult fetish film titled Hungry Bitches and quickly became an online phenomenon. Many people were caught off guard after being tricked into watching it, while others filmed and shared their first-time reactions to the shocking content, helping fuel its viral spread across the internet.
