Happy birthday, Ye.
Monday marked Ye’s 49th birthday, and Bianca Censori made sure to celebrate the occasion with a heartfelt tribute. The couple spent the special day together, with Censori sharing a message for her husband on her Instagram Story.
“Happy birthday @ye,” she wrote alongside a photo of the rapper. “I love you more than life.”
Censori also posted a video of Ye enjoying the celebration, dancing along to Snoop Dogg’s 2003 hit “Beautiful,” which features Pharrell and Charlie Wilson.
The artist formerly known as Kanye West has plenty of reasons to celebrate these days. Last month, Ye took the stage in Istanbul, Türkiye, where he performed in front of a reported crowd of 118,000 people. During the show, he told attendees it was the “largest stadium performance of all time.”
While that claim has yet to be verified, the concert marked a major milestone in his career. It was Ye’s first performance in Europe since 2014 and his first-ever show in Türkiye. Fans reportedly traveled from across Europe and the Middle East to attend the two-hour event, including visitors from Britain, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia, and Poland.
During a backstage livestream, streamer Plaqueboymax asked Ye about his Earth-inspired stage setup, which has become a defining feature of his recent performances.
“Coming back, standing on top of the world after everything we’ve been through, just to come back on top of the world,” Ye explained.
Meanwhile, music appears to be running in the family. His eldest daughter, North West, continues to explore her own artistic path. Following the release of her debut EP N0rth4evr, the soon-to-be 13-year-old teamed up with Lil Novi, the 16-year-old son of Lil Wayne, for a new collaborative track titled “Mula The Root of All Evil,” released last Friday.
North had previously worked with Lil Novi as the producer of his song “Justswagup,” which dropped earlier this year.
