DaBaby Reaches Settlement in Lawsuit Linked to Bowling Alley Fight With DaniLeigh’s Brother

DaBaby has officially settled the lawsuit tied to his 2022 bowling alley confrontation with Brandon Curiel, the brother of his former girlfriend DaniLeigh.

Court documents obtained by TMZ show that a notice of settlement was filed on Thursday in connection to the case, which stemmed from a fight at Corbin Bowl in Los Angeles. The filing notes that the lawsuit is expected to be dismissed within the next 45 days.

The agreement brings an end to a lengthy legal dispute that has been ongoing for several years. Curiel, who performs under the name Brandon Bill$, had filed a lawsuit against both DaBaby and the bowling alley, claiming he suffered injuries during the altercation. Video footage of the incident circulated online and appeared to show DaBaby and several members of his entourage confronting Curiel inside the venue.

New details emerged last month through deposition testimony regarding the moments leading up to the fight. Curiel alleged that DaBaby approached him and said, “I just want to slap you up a bit. I just want to slap you around a little bit,” before allegedly throwing the first punch. However, DaBaby’s attorneys disputed that version of events, maintaining that Curiel was the one who initiated the confrontation.

The financial details of the settlement have not been made public.

Speaking about the incident in 2022 during an appearance on The Breakfast Club, DaBaby admitted, “I’m still scared of that situation now.”

“I heard things were going to get ugly for me, so I usually don’t talk about it,” he added. “A n***a might show up downstairs.”
