Wale and Smino Mark Black Music Month With Amazon Exclusive Track “Glory”

Amazon Music has been honoring Black Music Month with a lineup of exclusive releases, special content, and unique performances. The latest artists to join the celebration are Wale and Smino, who have teamed up for a new track titled “Glory,” available exclusively through Amazon Music.

The pair also took part in the “Amazon Music presents” series, delivering an exclusive live performance of the song backed by a full band. The performance showcased both artists’ strengths, with Wale bringing his signature lyricism and sharp wordplay, while Smino added his distinctive vocal style and effortless flow that have become hallmarks of his sound.

Reflecting on the collaboration, Wale explained, “Smino and I wanted to make something that felt like a celebration and admiration of Black women — and of our music, culture, all of it. ‘Glory’ is that. Black Music Month is a reminder of how deep this runs and how our culture influences the world.”

Released on Juneteenth, “Glory” serves as a fitting tribute to Black culture and creativity while adding another standout collaboration to both artists’ catalogs.

Outside of their new Amazon Music collaboration, Wale and Smino are currently making their way across the country on the Everything Is… summer tour. The run continues through early July, with the duo scheduled to perform in Virginia Beach on Friday, June 19. From there, they’ll head to Washington, D.C., New York City, Boston, Connecticut, Philadelphia, Detroit, and Chicago before wrapping up the tour in Minneapolis.

Wale also has another major moment on the horizon. His project everything is a lot. has earned a nomination for Album of the Year at the 2026 BET Awards, with the winners set to be announced on June 28.

Meanwhile, Smino has remained active with a steady stream of collaborations, new music, and unexpected releases. Given his versatility and strong connections across the industry, there’s little reason to believe he’ll be slowing down anytime soon.

For now, though, fans can enjoy hearing the two artists come together for “Glory,” a fitting celebration of Black Music Month. Both have stayed incredibly busy in recent months, and if their current momentum is any indication, there could be even more music on the way.
