Cardi B and professional soccer player Maduka Okoye sparked attention over the weekend after they were spotted together once again.
According to TMZ, Cardi and Okoye were seen dining at Gio’s, a restaurant located inside Venice’s St. Regis hotel overlooking the canal. Photos from the outing showed the pair seated next to each other at the dinner table.
Okoye, who plays as a goalkeeper for Italian Serie A club Udinese and Nigeria’s national team, was joined by Cardi and several other guests during the evening. Although there was no public display of affection between the two, a source said they appeared comfortable and enjoyed the festive night out.
The Venice outing comes about two weeks after Cardi B and Maduka Okoye first caught attention when they attended the Jean Paul Gaultier Fall/Winter 2026 Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week on July 8. At the event, Page Six reported that Okoye was photographed holding Cardi’s hand while leading her to her seat. The pair were later spotted laughing together on a Paris terrace. However, neither Cardi nor Okoye has publicly confirmed that they are romantically involved.
The dinner also comes months after Cardi B’s breakup with NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, with whom she welcomed a son last year. The pair went Instagram official with their relationship in June 2025 before ending things ahead of the Super Bowl in February 2026. Before her brief relationship with Diggs, Cardi was married to former Migos member Offset from 2017 to 2024. The former couple share three children.
In early June, the “Am I the Drama?” rapper was seen appearing visibly frustrated with Diggs during an outing at a coffee shop in Maryland. When paparazzi asked whether they were still together, the NFL star left the response to Cardi.
