Offset has dealt with plenty of headlines over the past few years. His split from Cardi B played out publicly, while his alleged struggles with gambling addiction have also been a topic of discussion. Additionally, he was shot during an altercation with Lil Tjay, fueling further speculation surrounding his personal life.
Amid everything, the rapper hasn’t released an abundance of new music. That is set to change this Friday, however, with Offset preparing to drop his new single, “Something I Need.”
Offset is kicking off his promotional campaign this week with an unconventional approach. He has launched a hotline for a fictional radio show called “NEED FM.” By calling 470-742-6949, fans can receive free relationship advice from the rapper.
It’s a fun concept, though it isn’t the first time an artist has used a phone line as part of a promotional campaign. Either way, the arrival of new Offset music should be exciting news for plenty of rap fans.
Offset also appears to be back in the studio with Quavo. Quavo recently announced that Migos will reunite for one final album and one more tour. At the time of Takeoff’s death, Quavo and Set were no longer on speaking terms. That situation has since changed, and it now looks like fans could hear all three members on songs together again. Takeoff’s contributions will likely come from previously recorded verses pulled from the vault.
Let us know what you’re expecting from Offset’s new song in the comments below. And as always, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from across the music world.
