Rihanna has seemingly fired back at EJ Johnson after the media personality was denied entry to his Paris hotel this week.
On Friday (October 2), a video shared by The Hollywood Fix on Instagram captured Johnson struggling to get into his Paris hotel after posing for photographers. Paparazzi could then be heard urging hotel staff to allow him inside.
While the post attracted plenty of reactions, one comment stood out above the rest. Rihanna simply wrote: “damn.”
RiRi’s comment comes after Johnson appeared to take a subtle jab at the nine-time Grammy winner in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday (September 30).
The son of Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Cookie Johnson shared a recap of his Paris Fashion Week experience, featuring footage of himself before and after attending a Dior presentation.
Reflecting on the show, the Proud Family: Louder and Prouder star said: “The show itself was beautiful. It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late, and you know, like, we didn’t care to wait for her.”
Back in May, Johnson expressed his disappointment with the fashion at the 2026 Met Gala, describing the event as a “graveyard” and criticizing the outfits as “awful.”
“Let the Met Ball go,” Johnson said of the event. “I’m gonna shed a tear right now if I can.”
Although Johnson skipped the gala, Rihanna attended alongside her longtime partner and the father of her children, ASAP Rocky.
