50 Cent is preparing to release a documentary about his life, but one person who could have appeared in the project has reportedly turned down the opportunity.
During a conversation with Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday (Oct. 13), the rapper discussed the upcoming project while promoting his role as Balrog in Street Fighter. 50 Cent, who served as an executive producer on the 2025 Emmy-winning Sean Combs: The Reckoning docuseries, was asked about his own documentary.
For those unfamiliar with the project, reports surfaced in April that Hulu had approved a three-part docuseries about the rapper.
“Yeah, I’m not going to jail for, like, sexual assault or domestic violence or none of that stuff,” Fif told Kimmel when asked whether putting himself in the documentary spotlight was “a good idea” in light of Diddy’s current situation.
He went on to describe the upcoming documentary as “super cool,” joking that Floyd Mayweather, another regular target of his public jabs, could “maybe” appear for an interview. However, it seems Vivica A. Fox, who briefly dated Fif in the early 2000s, won’t be making an appearance.
“Vivica Fox said no,” Fif told Kimmel on Tuesday. “[We dated] and she just wouldn’t go away, Jimmy. And then she said no when I asked her to talk about it.”
When asked why the Kill Bill and Set It Off actress declined to participate, Fif suggested that the decision came down to a disagreement over payment.
“Well, something with ‘How much am I being paid?’” he said. “You talk about me all the time for no reason. Stop.”
A release date for 50 Cent’s upcoming docuseries has yet to be announced.
