GloRilla’s Sister Issues Public Apology Following Family Feud

Money has given Victoria “BroRilla” Woods a new perspective on the family feud she brought into the public eye earlier this year. After months of accusing her sister, GloRilla, of not providing enough financial support for their relatives, Woods says her own financial success has helped her understand some of her sister’s decisions. “I’m publicly apologizing to my sister,” she said during a recent livestream.

Woods explained that her outlook changed as she began earning more money and realized how quickly helping others could turn into an expectation. She recalled making around $40,000 in a single week and starting to wonder whether her generosity would eventually become something people felt entitled to.

“So I’m like, damn, is this why she said no in the first place because she know how it would have got?” Woods said. In another part of her apology, she was even more direct. “Glo, I apologize because I’m in your shoes now,” she said, joking that the comparison was still limited because her sister is a millionaire while she remains a “thousandaire.”

However, Woods has not entirely withdrawn her earlier complaints. She described the dispute as “50/50,” suggesting she still believes GloRilla bears some responsibility for the breakdown in their relationship.

The sisters’ feud became public in February when Woods accused GloRilla of distancing herself from their relatives as her music career gained momentum. She alleged that the Memphis rapper wasn’t doing enough to support their family and argued that she had a responsibility to help. During an interview with TMZ, Woods even suggested that giving each relative $2,500 could help resolve the situation.

GloRilla eventually addressed the accusations herself, denying that she had abandoned her family and urging her sister to stop airing their private matters online. According to TheGrio, the rapper told Woods to “keep my family out of it” and alluded to painful experiences from their past that she said she had intentionally kept private.

The conflict continued well into the summer. In July, Woods told TMZ that she wanted to mend her relationship with their mother but wasn’t ready to reconcile with GloRilla. At the time, she even said she would call the police if her sister approached her.

Woods’ tone has since softened considerably. She has also used the attention surrounding the feud to build her own following, releasing music under the name BroRilla and recently receiving positive reactions to her track “Memphian.” Her growing success appears to have given her a firsthand understanding of the pressures she previously criticized her sister for facing.

Meanwhile, GloRilla has yet to publicly respond to Woods’ apology. However, Woods’ acknowledgment of how earning money has changed her perspective marks one of the closest public steps toward reconciliation between the sisters since their family dispute erupted online.
