Officials at the New Jersey prison where Diddy is being held are denying reports that he got into a fight with Jamaican drug lord Christopher “Dudus” Coke last weekend.
On Thursday (Oct. 15), a Bureau of Prisons spokesperson told TMZ that the alleged altercation never happened. “We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen,” the representative said.
However, when asked how Diddy sustained a head injury that reportedly required hospital treatment on Saturday (Oct. 10), the spokesperson declined to provide further details, saying, “We have no additional information to provide.”
TMZ initially reported that Diddy’s head injury stemmed from a confrontation with Coke, and the outlet maintains that its sources stand by the original account despite the Bureau of Prisons’ denial.
On Wednesday (Oct. 14), TMZ claimed the alleged fight took place on Friday (Oct. 9). According to the outlet’s sources, Coke was upset over reports that Diddy had been receiving special treatment in prison, including access to a cellphone and massages. The claims were recently detailed in an NBC News report, which reportedly led to multiple prison raids. Coke allegedly had a cellphone confiscated, and the sources claimed the dispute resulted in Diddy’s head injury.
Page Six reported a different explanation, saying Diddy hit his head on the bunk above him and was “doing much better now.”
After his release date was pushed back over alleged prison privileges, Diddy is now expected to be released on March 2, 2028.
