Chrisean Rock had barely stepped onstage before the crowd began booing her during the Los Angeles stop of Tory Lanez’s Not on Tor Tour.
The rapper and reality TV star tried to energize the audience and dance on a platform during Thursday’s (October 15) show at Catch One. However, rather than receiving cheers, Rock was met with immediate boos, prompting her to recognize the crowd’s reaction and cut her performance short.
According to HotNewHipHop, Rock was among the performers booked for the event alongside her on-and-off boyfriend, Blueface, and several other West Coast artists. Tyga delivered a series of hits, including “Rack City,” while Fenix Flexin performed “Rubberz.” Meanwhile, the New Boyz continued their reunion nearly two decades after releasing “You’re a Jerk.” The outlet also reported that Tyga and Blueface led the crowd in chants of “Free Tory.”
The Not On Tor Tour is a multi-city series of official listening parties celebrating Lanez’s music, featuring DJ sets and special guest appearances. The events are taking place while the Canadian rapper-singer remains behind bars following his conviction in the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting case.
In August 2023, Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Since then, he has faced several incidents behind bars, including an alleged stabbing by another inmate last May.
The Not On Tor Tour is expected to continue with stops in Washington, D.C., New Orleans, and Pittsburgh, with additional cities potentially being added to the schedule.
