Diddy’s prison release date has been revised once again, with his latest transfer to a different correctional facility reportedly bringing his expected release forward by three weeks.
On Monday (Nov. 2), the Bureau of Prisons updated its records, listing the embattled music mogul’s new release date as Feb. 6, 2028. Before his transfer to the Federal Correctional Institution in Allenwood, Pennsylvania, Diddy was expected to leave prison on March 2, 2028.
Last month, Puff was moved from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey following reports of an altercation with another inmate and allegations that he was caught with contraband. During his time at the facility, he reportedly lost 41 days of good-time credit and had his commissary privileges suspended for 400 days due to multiple disciplinary violations.
His new facility is a low-security prison housing approximately 1,000 inmates, compared to the 4,000 inmates at Fort Dix. The difference in security levels could suggest that the transfer was related to security considerations rather than disciplinary action. However, TMZ reported that a Bureau of Prisons spokesperson declined to confirm the reason behind the move.
The spokesperson did, however, dismiss reports of a prison fight, telling the celebrity news outlet, “We can tell you that the story you are referring to is false and did not happen.”
As of this writing, Diddy’s projected release date has been adjusted 11 times since his sentencing, although the reasons behind the repeated changes remain unconfirmed. Below is a timeline of the release dates listed so far:
- May 8, 2028
