Top5 Reportedly Gets Message From Kanye West Following London Stabbing Incident

Top5 claims he got a message from Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) nearly a week after he was reportedly stabbed in London.

On Saturday (July 19), the Toronto rapper posted a screenshot to his Instagram Story showing what appeared to be a text from Ye.

“No way you made it to Paris,” the message read. “I want to know what you’re thinking in your brain right now.”

Top5 responded to Ye’s message with, “They know I’m coming Ye  [mouth zipped emoji].”

Ye fired back, “Like John Wick after they got his dog? Hahahaha you’re a soldier!”

The exchange came days after Top5—real name Hassan Ali—was reportedly stabbed in the neck while talking to fans near the stage following Drake’s performance at London’s Wireless Festival on July 13.

According to The Sun, video footage captured what appeared to be the same attack: a masked group surrounding a car, smashing its windshield, and stabbing the driver—believed to be Top5—in the leg.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson told The Sun, “The victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by a group who damaged his car before stabbing him in the leg.” Police responded around 12:15 a.m. on Monday (July 14), and confirmed that the victim’s injuries were not considered life-changing. As of now, no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
