JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez, two beloved stars from Love Island USA Season 6, have officially called it quits.
TMZ reports that a source close to the pair confirmed they broke up early Sunday morning, July 27, shortly after attending David Dobrik’s birthday party together.
The split has left fans stunned, with many wondering what could have caused the breakup so suddenly.
Craig and Rodriguez first crossed paths on Love Island USA Season 6 around this time last year. The two stayed together in the villa until Casa Amor, where they briefly split after Rodriguez brought another girl back. They eventually reconciled and had appeared to be solid ever since—until their shocking breakup.
It didn’t take long for eagle-eyed fans to notice the signs. Craig removed Rodriguez’s Instagram handle from her bio, unfollowed his main account, and even turned off comments on her own posts.
By midday yesterday, the other two members of the PPG (Powerpuff Girls) trio, Leah Kateb and Serena Page, had also unfollowed Rodriguez, further fueling the breakup rumors.
Kateb even chimed in under her own anniversary post with fellow Islander Miguel Harichi, responding to a fan who wrote, “leah my queen tell jana we don’t play about her we loveee her,” with, “we don’t either.”
The exact reason behind their breakup hasn’t been confirmed yet, but it was clearly significant enough to fracture the friend group overnight.
Craig and Rodriguez, who finished in third place on Love Island USA last year, had been navigating a long-distance relationship ever since. They only reunited to live together in Los Angeles during the filming of their new spin-off series, Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
