While fans continue to wait for news on A$AP Rocky’s long-awaited (and possibly Morrissey-assisted) new album, the rapper has been steadily building his acting resume with major roles in several buzzy projects.
On Wednesday, after the recent debut of his most detailed appearance yet in Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest alongside Denzel Washington, A24 dropped a fresh trailer for the acclaimed If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, starring Rose Byrne. Directed by Mary Bronstein, the film made waves at this year’s Sundance and earned rave reviews—just like Spike’s Kurosawa-inspired reimagining.
The synopsis for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You—the film that earned Rose Byrne the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance at the 2025 Berlin International Film Festival—centers on a woman grappling with the challenges of her child’s “mysterious illness.” Her struggles are made even more intense by an absent husband and a strange dynamic with her therapist.
If I Had Legs I’d Kick You hits theaters this October. Watch the full trailer above and check out the newly unveiled poster below.

Highest 2 Lowest hits theaters on August 15, with a streaming debut on Apple TV+ set for September.
“Don’t sleep on ASAP,” Spike Lee said about Rocky’s role in the film—his fifth collaboration with Denzel Washington. “In this film, Denzel and ASAP go toe to toe.”
As for Rose Byrne, she’s currently lighting up the screen in a new season of Platonic alongside Seth Rogen—and yeah, it’s absolutely killing it.
