Diddy Plotting Madison Square Garden Comeback Show After Prison Release, Lawyer Reveals

Sean “Diddy” Combs is gearing up for a major comeback show at Madison Square Garden in New York City after he’s released from jail.

In a preview of his first interview since the widely covered trial, Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo spoke with Jericka Duncan on CBS Mornings, sharing that the music mogul is eager to reunite with his family after nearly a year behind bars. Agnifilo also revealed that Diddy has plans to hit the stage again once he’s out.

“He’s going to be back at Madison Square Garden,” Agnifilo said when asked if Diddy plans to return to music. “And I said I’ll be there.”

In another part of the interview, Agnifilo shared what Diddy wants the public to know: “He wants people to know that he has reflected on the blessings that he’s been given. On the imperfections that I think he sees in himself. I think he wants to get out of jail, reestablish a loving, present relationship with all of his seven children. He wants to take care of his mother.”

Earlier this week, Diddy was denied bail for a second time ahead of his Oct. 3 sentencing for two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution. His legal team had put together a $50 million bond package, backed by his Florida estate, along with strict supervision, travel limits, and electronic monitoring. But Judge Arun Subramanian sided with prosecutors and rejected the proposal.

“As for risk of flight or danger, Combs fails to meet his burden by clear and convincing evidence for the reasons set forth on the record at the July 2, 2025, hearing,” court documents state. “Increasing the amount of the bond or devising additional conditions doesn’t change the calculus given the circumstances and heavy burden of proof that Combs bears.”

In a motion filed July 29, Diddy’s defense argued that he’s the only person in the country currently jailed for conduct involving consensual sex under the Mann Act.

Diddy was taken into custody by federal agents in New York City on September 16, 2024.
