Lil Baby has revealed that he’ll be dropping another album just weeks after releasing his upcoming project, The Leak$.
While on a slightly awkward stream with PlaqueBoyMax alongside Veeze, the rapper shared that fans can expect his next project to arrive only four weeks after The Leak$ hits.
“I really just took a few songs that had already leaked and built an entire album around them,” Lil Baby said. “Most of the leaks aren’t even the real versions anyway, but since people already have them, we just ran with it.
“I’m actually dropping two albums,” he continued. “The second one’s coming about four weeks after this, because honestly, I wasn’t even planning to drop this one.”
Fans are crossing their fingers that the mystery project will be Dominique—the self-titled LP he teased around the release of his WHAM album but has stayed quiet about lately.
Back in January, Lil Baby told Complex that Dominique would showcase “the more emotional and more vulnerable side I never really gave my fans.”
Elsewhere during PlaqueBoyMax’s stream, it was clear Lil Baby and Veeze weren’t impressed with the beats he was playing. At one point, as Max danced enthusiastically to a track, Lil Baby cut in and told him to skip to the next one.
Still, Lil Baby and PlaqueBoyMax eventually teamed up to create a track for the “In The Booth” series, titled “Beep.”
