Julia Wolf, coming off her new album Pressure and a Goo Goo Dolls cover with MGK, is the latest voice to pop up in Drake’s Iceman era.
The LA-based singer links up with Yeat on “Dog House,” which premiered during episode three of Drake’s Iceman livestream series. While it’s still unclear if the track will make the final Iceman lineup, it follows recent previews like “What Did I Miss?” and the Central Cee-assisted “Which One.”
Next up, Wolf is gearing up to hit the stage alongside blink-182, Green Day, and more at the 2025 edition of Chicago’s Riot Fest.
Who is Julia Wolf?
Originally from Long Island but now based in Los Angeles, Wolf blends a range of influences in her music. She’s already racked up millions of streams, with her breakout track “In My Room” crossing 31 million streams earlier this year.
Wolf’s latest album Pressure also features standout tracks like “Loser” and “Jennifer’s Body,” the latter nodding to the cult-favorite Megan Fox film, which itself was named after the 1994 Hole track.
On Drake’s “Dog House” with Yeat, Wolf couldn’t hide her excitement. “Genuinely cannot believe this,” she wrote while teasing the collab after its Iceman episode three premiere.
Drake and Julia Wolf have popped up on each other’s Instagrams over the past few months, with Wolf even thanking the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards nominee for showing up to one of her performances in his hometown of Toronto.
In a May interview with BeatBox, Wolf opened up about the moment Drake first slid into her DMs, calling the experience “literally insane.” Their connection quickly turned into support from the superstar himself.
“I have to say, he’s been super nice and encouraging and took the time to listen to the album, which is crazy,” Wolf shared. “We’re not friends, but it wasn’t just a DM. I think he likes my artistry and he thinks there’s something special there.”
When asked by Complex about landing a feature with Drake, Wolf said she was “so excited” to be part of the “Dog House” track.
“I’m so excited to be a part of this track!” “Dog House” dropped on streaming. “It’s so fun to see our two worlds collide. It’s insane to have such an impactful artist like Drake even ask for me to be involved.”
Earlier this year, Wolf teamed up with MGK for a fresh spin on “Iris,” the Goo Goo Dolls’ timeless hit from 1998’s City of Angels soundtrack and their Dizzy Up the Girl album.
Julia Wolf now has three albums under her belt, with Pressure arriving this year after 2023’s Good Thing We Stayed and her 2021 debut Girls in Purgatory.
For the SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music alum, the title Pressure carries a deeply personal significance, reflecting her own journey and experiences.
“It perfectly sums up the kind of pressure that I’m feeling,” Wolf said of the Pressure cover art in press notes released in May. “There’s a little blood, but it’s clear that her suspension is almost a way of feeling better.”
She explained that Pressure was created to “express the emotions that came with that: the soft doubt, the lack of confidence, the comparing myself to literally everyone that breathes.”
