Cardi B just added “world record holder” to her list of accomplishments — and it’s all thanks to drones.
To celebrate the release of Am I The Drama?, Walmart teamed up with the rapper to deliver physical copies of the album to fans in Dallas via drones. Cardi shared the news on X, writing, “I can’t even believe this, my fans have been getting my album from drones.”
According to TMZ, the stunt officially broke the Guinness World Record for “Most deliveries in one hour” with 176 drone drop-offs.
Cardi B is stacking up milestones as fast as her drones can drop packages.
Her Am I The Drama? rollout not only broke a Guinness World Record with 176 drone deliveries in an hour, but the project also went platinum just one day after release. The RIAA credited the certification to the massive success of her earlier No. 1 singles “WAP” (nine-times platinum) and “Up” (five-times platinum).
The album itself has stirred plenty of conversation, especially for Cardi’s sharp disses aimed at JT and Bia. On The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden praised the lines but questioned if she wrote them herself: “Whoever is writing these lines, he is smoking this shit.”
Cardi wasn’t having it. In a since-deleted X post, she clapped back: “Whoever wrote it? Nah that’s CARDI.. this is my process… I’m a natural roaster and you already know I’m quick with the mouth so I’ll be coming up with lines and I’ll record myself then lay it later. Don’t give me backhanded 10s cuz I’ll always be able to prove my shit.”
On top of the album buzz, Cardi also revealed she’s pregnant with boyfriend Stefon Diggs’ child, her fourth overall. The announcement came during her CBS sit-down with Gayle King, who later admitted she walked away with a “girl crush” on the rapper.
“I think if you underestimate her, you do it at your own peril,” King said. “She knows exactly what she’s doing.”
