Megan Thee Stallion has filed for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, alleging that the rapper, despite being behind bars, is still harassing her through coordinated online attacks.
According to TMZ, Megan claims Lanez has been orchestrating defamatory statements about her via a group of bloggers. One of these bloggers, Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, is someone Megan previously sued in October for allegedly promoting deepfake porn content about her.
In her latest filing, Megan says she has evidence that Lanez and Cooper share a “conspiratorial relationship.” She alleges that prison phone call logs reveal conversations between Lanez and his father discussing payments to Cooper, specifically for harassing Megan.
Megan describes this as “psychological warfare,” saying it has deeply affected her mental health. She claims the ongoing harassment has left her depressed and distanced from friends. As part of the restraining order, Megan is asking the court to stop Lanez from harassing her, directly or through others.
Financial records reportedly back up Megan’s claims. Sources say these records show that Cooper received payments totaling $3,000 between October 2020 and March 2022.
This isn’t the first time Lanez has been tied to allegations of targeting Megan. In an amended complaint tied to her lawsuit against Cooper, Megan’s legal team stated that Lanez and his father discussed Cooper multiple times. They also reportedly claimed Megan would “never be able to prove” that Lanez was financially supporting Cooper’s attacks.
The filing underscores the distress Megan has faced, calling the alleged actions “extreme and outrageous conduct” designed to cause her emotional harm.
“By consciously coordinating with [Megan’s] convicted assaulter to amplify disproven and baseless theories against her, [Cooper] engaged in conduct that has caused severe emotional distress to the true victim of [Lanez’s] criminal acts,” the filing reads.
This development comes after Lanez was convicted in 2022 for shooting Megan in the foot. He is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the assault.
Megan has been vocal about the toll this case has taken on her, both personally and professionally. This filing marks another chapter in her fight to protect herself and her reputation.
