NLE Choppa hit Instagram on Monday to respond to a viral moment where Jonathan Majors told him to “read the Bible again” during the latest episode of Kirk Franklin’s Den of Kings.
Posting with the pointed caption “READ IT AGAIN,” Choppa shared a carousel of photos that included screenshots of three Bible verses, a picture of himself praying, and a behind-the-scenes image of Majors chatting with him.
Choppa also posted the photo of himself and Majors on his Instagram Story, with the caption, “The eyes. They never lie Chico”
In his post, Choppa may have drawn inspiration from an X user, @DionDLion, who commented under @FearedBuck’s viral clip—which has racked up over 7.6 million views—arguing that the rapper’s point “is not wrong.”
After NLE Choppa shared his perspective, Jonathan Majors asked, “Have you read the Bible?”
“I read the Bible. I listen to the Bible. I receive from—” Choppa began, before Majors cut in, saying, “I would say, read it again.”
The exchange takes place at the 47:10 mark in the video above.
