Travis Scott Breaks Record for Largest Rap Concerts in India With Consecutive Sold-Out Shows in Delhi

Travis Scott has once again cemented his place in music history.

The Grammy-nominated rapper and producer just set a new milestone for live performances in India with his back-to-back CIRCUS MAXIMUS shows at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, pulling in over 125,000 fans across two unforgettable nights.

According to a press the sold-out events—organized by Live Nation and BookMyShow—officially marked the biggest rap concerts ever hosted in India and the largest single-artist shows in Delhi’s history.

These record-shattering performances are part of Scott’s 2025 international leg of the CIRCUS MAXIMUS TOUR, which continues to make waves worldwide. After Delhi, Scott is set to hit stages in Seoul, South Korea; Sanya, China; Tokyo; and Abu Dhabi, before circling back to India for a third show at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse on Nov. 19.

Launched in October 2023, the CIRCUS MAXIMUS WORLD TOUR has already proven to be one of the biggest global tours in recent years, boasting 76 sold-out shows across North America, Europe, the UK, Latin America, Australia, and New Zealand. By the end of 2024, the tour had grossed an impressive $209.3 million with 1.7 million tickets sold worldwide.

Despite the massive success, the international run hasn’t been entirely smooth. During Scott’s October 11 stop at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg, South Africa, his performance for over 70,000 fans began more than an hour and a half late. The rapper later explained on social media that the delay was caused by storms and lightning—not lateness.
