Watch IShowSpeed Lose It Over New ‘GTA VI’ Delay: ‘I’ma Be Fcking 50 When This Sht Drops’

iShowSpeed isn’t taking the latest Grand Theft Auto VI delay well.

On Thursday (November 6), Rockstar Games revealed that the long-awaited new installment of the blockbuster video game series has been postponed once again, with a new release date set for November 19, 2026.

“We are sorry for adding additional time to what we realize has been a long wait, but these extra months will allow us to finish the game with the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve,” Rockstar Games said in a statement on X.

Speed learned about the new delay during a live YouTube stream and was so frustrated he couldn’t even finish reading Rockstar’s statement. “It’s not coming out,” he kept repeating, growing more and more agitated.

“I’ma be fucking 50 when this shit come out, bruh,” Speed shouted around the 1:26:30 mark of the stream. “I’ma have kids. I’ma have a wife. I’ma be married.”

He didn’t stop there, adding, “I’ma have a pet dog. I’ma have a cat. I’ma be a whole new man when this shit come out.”

According to Polygon, this marks the second delay for Grand Theft Auto VI. The open-world blockbuster was initially set to drop in the fall of this year, before Rockstar announced in May that it would instead arrive on May 26, 2026.

Despite that already distant date, the studio has now decided the game needs a few “extra months.”

“In this instance, of course, we’re seeking to release the most extraordinary title anyone’s ever seen in the history of entertainment,” said Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two Interactive, in a previous interview with Variety. “That’s a tall order. And in this instance, Rockstar Games believes a limited amount of additional time is required for polish to support that view.”

As Variety also noted, Grand Theft Auto VI has been in development for more than a decade.
