50 Cent Takes a Jab at Jim Jones Over Max B’s Prison Release

50 Cent wasted no time stirring things up.

Early Monday morning, the rapper jumped on Instagram to troll Jim Jones following Max B’s recent prison release. 50 shared a still from Belly featuring Rico (played by Tyrin Turner) eating a banana and plotting to snitch, with the text “Jim Jones” written over it. He also posted a clip of Max B on FaceTime with DJ Whoo Kid.

“[N**as] said Max home it’s packed in Harbor, jimmy about to drop a dime on these [n**as] LOL,” 50 captioned the post.

The post also included a short clip of a FaceTime call between 50’s longtime collaborator, DJ Whoo Kid, and Max B.

“Tell the big homie Boo Boo I said what up,” Max said, referencing 50’s well-known nickname.

“He just dropped a new joint, so let’s work. He’s back in the studio,” Whoo Kid replied, referring to 50’s latest track “Fight Land,” which features Sheff G, Sleepy Hallow, and Jeremih.

Max responded enthusiastically, “Say no more. Let’s get it, I’m ready.”

50’s jab at Jim Jones, implying snitching, echoed the same unfounded accusations 6ix9ine has thrown at the Dipset rapper in the past.

While 50 continues to feud with Jones, Max B seems ready to move on and let the past go. During a call from prison on Drink Champs over the summer, Max talked about wanting to make peace with Jones.

“Listen, Jim said a bunch of hard shit about me. So, we all say hard shit about each other, okay?” he said. “Jim done wished me dead, all type of shit. It’s all good. Listen, man. It’s love, man. I want to start over. I’m a new man. I’m a married man. I got four kids.”

He added, “I’m on a whole different time right now, my n***a. I’m out here to get my money and ride out the sunset with this shit. It’s in there for me, though. I’m gonna tell you that. So that’s the goal.”

Max and Jones’ fallout dates back to 2008, after Max split from Jones’ ByrdGang label over money disputes in his contract. What began as business disagreements quickly turned into a full-blown feud between their crews, which only cooled off when Max was sent to prison in 2009. The Harlem rapper was officially released on Sunday after serving over 15 years for aggravated manslaughter.

50 Cent, however, doesn’t share Max’s peace-loving energy. His ongoing tension with Jim reignited earlier this year when he appeared on Cam’ron’s show Talk With Flee. The two revisited moments from 2007, when 50 brought Jones on stage to perform with him amid Dipset’s internal drama.

Jones later fired back during an interview with Justin Laboy.

“Them n***as be on my dick. Them n**as ain’t got nothing else to think about but Capo. I did a lot for them n**as in their life, ya heard? Both of them,” Jones said. “Pause, though. Get off my dick! It’s only space on there for baby girl. Come on, man. Tugging on my sht like that.”
