Boosie BadAzz opened up about why he’s still unsure about marriage even though he’s engaged to Raj’el Nelson, the mother of his youngest child.
The Baton Rouge rapper appeared on the Tuesday (November 18) episode of Angela Yee’s Lip Service, where he explained why, at 43, he’s hesitant to make things official. Boosie and Nelson have been together for about five years, and in April they welcomed their daughter, Sevyn — Boosie’s eighth child.
Around the 56-minute mark of the video below, Boosie admitted he’s “scared” to get married, even though he knows his fiancée is “a good woman.” He also shared that he’s afraid of potential “infidelities.”
“I don’t want to hurt her and lose what I’ve already accomplished. I’ve lost this once before to prison,” said Boosie, who is set to be sentenced on a gun charge next January.
After the crew brought up a hypothetical situation where Boosie gets another woman pregnant and has to break the news to Nelson, he joked that he’d “cry” with his fiancée. “When she cry, you gotta start crying with her,” he said. “‘Fuck that, bae, I’m hurt, too. I fucked up, I’m hurt, too.’”
Boosie also revisited a moment when a woman caught him having sex with her cousin, even though he’d initially agreed with her that the cousin could just watch.
“When she went to sleep, I went in the other room and start fucking with her and she walked down on us and then start fighting her,” Boosie recalled. “My boy had to come up to the room and break it up. All us naked.”
The conversation eventually returned to marriage, and Boosie claimed he’s not the same cheater he “used to be.” “I respect my woman, I ain’t stepping out with no bitches, I ain’t doing none of that. I’m a way better man than I was,” he said.
Boosie later shared that his final sexual fantasy is hooking up with a “fine-ass cop,” even though he’s already slept with female correctional officers in the past.
