Meek Mill says he wants to bring violence to those who “terrorize our neighborhoods.” The rapper took to X to share his idea, writing, “I wanna hunt and war against people that terrorize our neighborhoods… but never as a cop!” He continued, “Like a black out squad when we come, it’s about kids, women, or innocent people being killed by out of control street n****s — once the community say it, that’s your court date!”

Mill reshared Grok’s breakdown of his post after a fan asked what he meant. “Meek Mill is expressing a desire to combat violence in neighborhoods by targeting those who harm innocents like kids and women, but not as police,” the explanation read. “He envisions a community-led ‘black out squad’ where the community’s judgment serves as the ‘court date’ for these offenders, emphasizing street justice over formal law.”
Mill then opened up about why he felt so strongly. “I’m in Dubai seeing them kids get killed at that party bothers em to the same level that war and bombs bother yall!” he wrote. “I know the life and I know for %1000 that is never the way!”
Whenever Mill sets a mission, he moves on it — something reflected in his work with the REFORM Alliance, which he co-founded alongside Jay-Z and Michael Rubin. Just last December, the organization helped pass a historic global resolution with the United Nations to protect the rights of people leaving prison who are on parole or probation.
REFORM teamed up with Costa Rica and a coalition of 120 organizations across 49 countries to push through the UN resolution, which outlines clear human-rights protections for people reentering society after incarceration. The resolution lays out actionable steps for governments aiming to build safer, more inclusive communities centered on reintegration.
