50 Cent Fires Back After Ye’s Legal Team Calls His Antisemitism ‘Artistic Expression’

50 Cent is scratching his head after Ye’s attorney suggested the rapper’s antisemitic remarks fall under art.

On Feb. 23, Ye’s legal team, Andrew and Katie Cherkasky, submitted an appeal in his ongoing antisemitism case. They argued that a lower court should have thrown out a Jewish marketing specialist’s workplace discrimination claims, citing First Amendment protections.

According to Ye’s lawyer, the rapper’s public image is “intentionally provocative and thematically charged,” claiming that his references to himself as a “Nazi” and “Hitler” are safeguarded because they’re tied to his artistic expression.

“The communications she challenges — creative directives, conceptual drafts, provocative imagery, marketing strategy and staffing decisions shaping a public-facing message — were not collateral to Ye’s art; they were part of its development,” the lawyers wrote.

So where does Fif come in? In classic 50 Cent fashion, he couldn’t resist chiming in on the headline-making moment. The rapper shared a screenshot of a news article about the lawyers’ argument on Instagram and offered his own bewildered take.

“Now why the fuck would the lawyer say that,” Fif wrote, adding a face palm emoji. “DAMN IT MAN! LOL.”

Maybe Fif should spend less time dissecting what Ye’s legal team is saying and more time handling his simmering beef with T.I. and King Harris. Their tension has been brewing for over a decade, but things escalated recently when 50 Cent warned T.I. to stop mentioning his name, shared an unflattering photo of his wife, Tiny, and even went as far as calling the rapper’s children “little fucked up albino kids.”

And to be clear, T.I. hasn’t just let it slide. He’s fired back with multiple diss tracks and appears ready to go toe-to-toe.
