Ray J’s Former Partner Says Police Responded After He Allegedly Attempted to Leap From Ledge: “Never Put His Hands on Me”

Ray J’s former girlfriend, TV personality Shila Hasanoff, is shutting down claims that a domestic altercation took place when police showed up at the singer’s Los Angeles home last weekend.

According to TMZ on Thursday (Feb. 26), the Love Cabin star addressed the situation via Instagram Story.

“I want to make one thing very clear: Ray J has never put his hands on me,” Hasanoff said, noting that the singer has been dealing with “a lot of pressure lately.”

She also pointed to Ray J’s ongoing legal dispute with his ex-girlfriend Kim Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner over defamation.

“And whether people want to agree with him or not, it affects him in ways that people would never understand,” Hasanoff added.

Hasanoff explained that during the incident on Saturday (Feb. 21), she slapped Ray J in an attempt to stop him from jumping off a ledge at his home.

She further claimed that he has been feeling “suicidal” due to his legal issues and health concerns.

Ray J, however, pushed back on that narrative. Speaking to TMZ, he denied being suicidal and insisted he’s “perfectly stable.”

He also alleged that Hasanoff was “very aggressive” that night and said his “back tooth is loose” from what he described as a “massive blow.”

“Hell yeah I called 911 because I left the hotel and she followed me,” Ray J said. “Her apology was sincere and weird at the same time—but we’re on good terms.”

Both Hasanoff and Ray J reportedly declined to cooperate with police after officers responded to the alleged domestic disturbance. No arrests were made, and authorities eventually left the property.

This isn’t the first time law enforcement has been called in connection to Ray J. Last March, Los Angeles police responded to an argument between him and his wife of nine years, Princess Love. The estranged couple shares two children.
