DDG might be one of the top streamers out right now, but even with the flashy lifestyle, it doesn’t always translate to real comfort.
The rapper and content creator has built a strong income stream through YouTube, Twitch, and music. Still, living large comes with its own pressures—especially when expenses start stacking up fast.
While chopping it up on a Kick stream with Deshae Frost, the Michigan native admitted that anything below $100,000 a month doesn’t cut it for him when it comes to handling bills and everyday costs.
In a clip shared by Akademiks TV, DDG explained that if he has a slow month financially, he’s quick to scale back—no dining out, no shopping, and no extra activities.
One of the others on the stream with Deshae Frost and DDG asked when he last fell short of that target. “It’s been months. 2025 I made under 100,000. It ain’t too far off.”
He went on to say it’s been even longer since he earned less than $50,000—so long, in fact, that he can’t even remember the last time it happened.
Even though DDG seems to be consistently pulling in $100,000 a month without much trouble, some people in the comments are still stunned—and even concerned he could run into financial trouble down the line.
One commenter wrote, “Man if my bills 100k a month majority HAVE to be businesses… I jus hope this why he spending 100k a month cause wtfff.”
Another didn’t hold back, adding, “He’ll be broke 3 years from now crying about donations & sh*t, fame is really seasonal he need to stack that money while he still got it.”
For DDG’s sake, hopefully it never gets to that point—especially since he now has a child to look after.
In other news, DDG recently addressed claims made by fellow streamer N3on, who alleged that xQc made some blunt remarks about his music career during the filming of a MrBeast video, reportedly saying his music “f*cking sucks” to his face.
But according to the “Pink Dreads” rapper, that version of events isn’t true. “If I’m Mr. Beast, I’m never inviting N3on to no sht ever again. He gassing this sht so crazy and then, on top of gassing it, why are you leaking this bro? He didn’t say nothing to my face. Stop lying now. Video would’ve been over. Don’t lie. Wasn’t nothing to my face.”
