The mother of one of Kodak Black’s children is now facing major legal issues after being arrested in Fort Lauderdale on several charges, including drug trafficking, according to official records.
Jammiah Broomfield was taken into custody on April 14 and booked into Broward County’s Main Jail. The charges against her include methamphetamine trafficking, resisting an officer without violence, and driving with a suspended license.
Authorities say the situation unfolded after a pursuit involving a black Tesla that had reportedly fled from detectives earlier in the month. Officers later spotted the car again and tried to pull it over, but the driver allegedly took off, drove recklessly, then ditched the vehicle and ran.
After a brief chase, detectives caught Broomfield and arrested her. A search of the abandoned car reportedly uncovered a plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, weighing around 29.5 grams.
Investigators claim Broomfield told officers she picked up the drugs for her boyfriend. Police also said they found $1,010 in cash on her, noting it aligned with typical street-level narcotics activity.
Court records show the trafficking charge is still pending, with her bond set at $50,000. She’s also dealing with additional charges, including probation violations from previous cases. Broomfield is reportedly on probation until 2030 for grand theft.
Following the arrest reports, Kodak Black appeared to react on social media, sharing screenshots and messages that seemed to touch on the financial support he provides to the mothers of his children. In one post, he highlighted sending money and stressed his role as a provider, noting that he handles expenses without making a fuss.
“SMH FREE MY BM AGAIN,” he wrote. “I POSTED THAT SCREENSHOT OF THE RANDOM ‘EXTRA’ MONEY I JUST SENT THEY ASS ‘ONLY’ TO THINK AHEAD OF THE TROLLING SHE GET, SIMPLE DUE TO ME BEING A GREAT FATHER AND ALWAYS SETTING THE EXAMPLE REGARDLESS IF ITS INTIMACY OR NOT !!! EVEN WHEN MY BM’zz HATE ME REAL BAD I STEP.”
He continued, “ON CHILD SUPPORT AND ALL NEVER COMPLAINED OR UNDERVALUED MY FAM BUT AGAIN THE THANKS IS NEVER AS LOUD AS THE DISRESPECT.”
Other posts also featured what looked like text messages showing money being sent to several women, with captions hinting at frustration over what Kodak Black feels is a lack of appreciation.
Meanwhile, Jammiah Broomfield is still being held at the Paul Rein Detention Facility in Pompano Beach as her case continues to unfold.
