Young Thug brought Mariah the Scientist out during his set at Coachella on Sunday (April 19), introducing her to the crowd as his “wife.”
Clips circulating after the 2026 Indio festival wrapped show Mariah appearing as a surprise guest during the performance, where she delivered “Burning Blue,” one of the standout tracks from her 2025 album Hearts Sold Separately.
“Make some noise for my motherfuckin’ wife,” Thug told the audience.
“Thank you, everybody! Give it up for Young Thug!” Mariah responded.
Back in December of last year, Young Thug popped the question to Mariah the Scientist during a show in Atlanta. The couple—who’ve been linked for a while—have also teamed up on several tracks, including contributions to last year’s UY SCUTI, where Mariah appears on “Invest Into You” and “Dreams Rarely Do Come True.”
The 2026 Coachella lineup saw Thug sharing the stage across two weekends in Indio with stars like Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G, Slayyyter, and Clipse, among others. During the first weekend, Camila Cabello made a surprise appearance, joining Thug to perform their 2018 smash “Havana,” which previously hit No. 1 on the Hot 100.
With another Coachella wrapped, attention is already shifting to 2027, with plenty of speculation around who might headline next. Olivia Rodrigo is already being floated as a strong contender, though more names are expected to enter the conversation in the coming months.
