Kai Cenat’s Streamer University Auditions in Atlanta Canceled After Massive Crowd Turnout Overwhelms Event Area

Kai Cenat’s Atlanta auditions for his Streamer University have been called off after organizers struggled to manage the massive turnout of hopeful applicants.

According to FOX 5 Atlanta, hundreds of people gathered outside State Farm Arena on Wednesday morning (June 17) for the event, which had originally been scheduled for Monday (June 15). As the day progressed, officials announced that the auditions would no longer continue.

“Due to the overwhelming number of people attending today’s Kai Cenat ‘Streaming University’ audition and subsequent safety concerns, auditions have been stopped and those outside of State Farm Arena have been asked to remove themselves from the line,” representatives for State Farm Arena said.

Cenat later addressed the situation on his Instagram Stories, reposting State Farm Arena’s statement confirming that the auditions had been halted because of safety concerns caused by the crowd size.

Before the event was shut down, the popular streamer had urged attendees to stay in a single-file line to help organizers manage the process and “keep things moving.”

Streamer University launched last year at the University of Akron in Ohio and featured appearances from DDG, India Love, and Kya Renee, better known as CookinwitKya. The multi-day program is designed to help aspiring content creators and social media personalities build connections, sharpen their skills, and grow their audiences.

Before arriving in Atlanta, the audition tour made stops in New York and Los Angeles. Applications for Streamer University remain open, but participants must be at least 18 years old and able to travel within the United States for program events. The initiative is divided into three categories of creators: “Students,” “Professors,” and “Club Directors.”

Meanwhile, Soulja Boy has launched a competing concept called “Rapper University,” promising attendees the opportunity to learn directly from him and, in his words, “become a rap star.”
