Rylo Rodriguez has dropped his new album S.K.A.T.E., and fans are already digging through the tracklist. But one song getting the most attention this weekend is “Eliza (Bless Me Up)” because of a lyrical mention of Offset.
On the track, Rylo raps, “Freebandz, I’m locked in with Casino, but I’m not Offset,” referencing both Offset’s gambling headlines and Future’s Freebandz imprint, which includes Casino. Many listeners took the line as a subtle jab at Offset.
Offset clearly didn’t see it that way. Shortly after the song’s release, he fired off a series of Instagram Story posts aimed at Rylo, including claims that the Alabama rapper is now banned from Atlanta.
“@rylorodriguez too broke to name drop me p***y,” he allegedly wrote. “Here go some clout p***y you n***as can’t come to ATL nomo. @rylorodriguez Alabama a n***a u a country n***a u went against yo own ppl to d**k ride p***y I ain’t deleting s**t u want publicity p***y.”
He continued, “Check ya deal p***y Shrimp,” adding, “No for real why yall gotta mention set for clout… n***a you never even touched on what I made off my first album thumb lookin n***a.”
Offset also went on to share a voice message from Rylo Rodriguez after the Instagram Story exchange, where Rylo insisted the lyric wasn’t even meant as a diss.
In the message, he reportedly said, “even if I was to [sell] 10K that be cool it still be 2k more than your last tape. Lil boy day was yesterday,” pushing back directly at Offset in his own IG Story posts.
It remains to be seen whether more responses or updates will come out of the situation. Things are starting to drift into sensitive territory around Atlanta hip-hop loyalties, so fans will be watching closely to see if the tension cools down or escalates further. What began as something that didn’t appear to be a diss has now clearly developed into a full-blown back-and-forth.
Meanwhile, Offset is also juggling other ongoing drama involving Stefon Diggs and Cardi B, alongside additional rap-related tensions he’s been tied up in. Adding another layer to the conversation, his past situation with Lil Tjay also had casino-related elements, which some listeners are connecting back to the “Eliza” lyrics and the broader context around them.
