Drake finally achieved the long-awaited max win in a new commercial for Stake, and he made sure to celebrate the moment.
In the new ad shared on his Instagram account, Drake is shown celebrating wildly, jumping up and down after hitting his biggest win on the platform so far. The video includes an “Oh My God” counter, tracking the number of times he repeats the phrase more than 70 times as his displayed winnings climb beyond the $30 million mark.
The commercial ends with Drake’s “Anita Max Wynn” character, a reference to a viral 2023 clip where he said, “Anita Max Win,” a wordplay on the gambling phrase “I need a max win.” The viral moment later inspired the name of his 2025 tour in Australia.
Drake has faced significant criticism over his partnership with Stake. Last year, a Missouri man filed a lawsuit against the rapper, streamer Adin Ross, and Stake’s parent company, Sweepstakes Limited. The lawsuit accused Stake of promoting illegal online gambling and engaging in “deceptive trade practices” that allegedly “have inflicted severe harm on the vulnerable in Missouri.” It also claimed that the platform heavily promoted itself through social media advertisements and videos featuring influencers, including Drake and Ross.
In 2024, popular streamer Pokimane also criticized Drake’s connection to the platform. “When I heard Drake was involved with Stake, my heart broke, I’mma be honest,” she said during a stream. “Because I’ve been a little Drake fangirl, you know, the Canadian blood running through my veins—and I still love his music. Now I don’t love him as much as a person.”
Drake has openly shown his love for gambling, recently placing a bet on Canada defeating South Africa in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar famously accused Drake of having a gambling addiction on his diss track “Meet the Grahams.”
