Cardi B Opens Up About Celibacy Tour Slip-Up, Says She “Went Back to Some Bullsh*t”
Cardi B has shared details about a brief moment when she broke her celibacy streak while on the road earlier this year.
During an X Spaces session on Wednesday (July 22), the rapper admitted that she had a short-lived setback after staying focused on herself throughout her Little Miss Drama tour.
“I was single throughout my whole tour,” she said. “Single, not talking to nobody, not entertaining nobody, not anything.”
However, Cardi revealed that she eventually found herself returning to a situation she described as “bullshit” — though she quickly realized it and walked away.
“I went back to some bullshit,” she admitted during the conversation, explaining that she removed herself from the situation soon after and has since been “living my life.”
She described her current lifestyle in detail, saying, “I’ve been going outside. I’ve been chilling with friends. I’ve been vacationing. I’ve been drinking. I’ve been having a ball.”
Cardi did not reveal who the brief relationship involved, but fans and multiple outlets have speculated that it may have been NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, her on-and-off partner and the father of her youngest child, a baby boy born in November 2025.
The pair had publicly reconnected in spring 2026, with Diggs attending Cardi’s Washington D.C. tour stop in April. The two were also photographed sharing a kiss at his Diggs Deep Foundation Mother’s Day event. However, things appeared to become tense again weeks later after a video surfaced showing an argument between them outside a Maryland coffee shop, where Cardi was heard saying, “That bitch is messy.”
The confession also came shortly after Cardi sparked dating rumors with Nigerian soccer goalkeeper Maduka Okoye after they were seen together at the Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture show in Paris in early July, followed by another sighting of the two having dinner in Italy.
Those appearances happened just days before Cardi’s X Spaces comments. Around the same time, Okoye’s ex, Jelicia Westhoff, made public allegations about him, adding more attention to the situation.
Despite everything, Cardi presented her honesty as a moment of self-awareness rather than disappointment. “Could I pick better men? Probably. Maybe. So, whatever,” she said.
She also explained that being a celebrity means she has to be more selective about who she dates, but she made it clear she has no plans to completely avoid relationships.
“I’m not gonna be single forever. I need to be entertained,” she said. “Even me and my friends, even when we have a ball, we need some entertainment. Because at the end of the day baby, entertainment is needed.”
