Drake Confirms ‘FOMO’ Short Film Is Returning to YouTube

Following a brief absence from YouTube, Drake’s short film FOMO is making its way back to the platform.

The rapper revealed the film’s return in an Instagram post on Thursday (Sep. 17).

After Drake announced FOMO earlier this month, the short film debuted on YouTube Tuesday (Sep. 15) before disappearing from the platform not long after its release.

In the days before the premiere, Drake released a teaser, calling FOMO a “not so short film” that was “directed and scored by the family.” The teaser showed the Toronto native cruising on a neon green speedboat as a woman narrated the scene, but it offered little insight into what the mysterious project had in store.

Just before FOMO premiered, Drake shared a message on Instagram outlining what viewers could expect from the short film.

“This is self-funded surrealism,” he wrote. “A story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer. Credit to nobody but the members. Here’s some life advice before you watch. Nobody is coming to save you. You must use each day to decipher who you love and trust and march forward with them.”

For anyone who was worried about missing out, the hour-long “not so short film” is officially back.
