Ye is reportedly preparing to host a fashion show at the new Yeezy store in Los Angeles, where he plans to showcase the brand’s latest designs.
According to a report from Puck published on Wednesday (Oct. 21), a source “with direct knowledge of the situation” confirmed the plans, although a date for the event has yet to be announced.
Ye hasn’t held a major public showcase of Yeezy designs in several years. His last major fashion show was Yeezy Season 9, which took place in Paris in October 2022. He also presented a Season 10 show in Los Angeles the following year, but the event was more low-key and featured a limited display of designs.
If the latest reports prove accurate, the upcoming show could feature some new footwear designs. In August, Ye took to his Instagram Story to preview several military-inspired boots and the Yeezy 800. The all-black sneaker features a layered upper combining mesh, leather, and suede, alongside a chunky sole that carries the mesh detailing around the bottom.
The rugged styles bear similarities to footwear from previous Yeezy collections, prompting speculation that the brand may be revisiting some of its signature designs while introducing fresh silhouettes.
After spending the past four years largely absent from traditional retail stores, Yeezy returned to the retail scene through JD Stores over the summer with the release of its Yeezy Slides. The launch marked a significant milestone for the brand following the end of its partnership with Adidas in 2022, which brought its retail distribution to a halt.
