Fresh texts between ASAP Rocky and ASAP Relli popped up in court Wednesday, showing their heated exchange right after their run-in.
TMZ reports that when they met up in Hollywood to squash their beef, Relli hit Rocky with accusations of setting him up and trying to take him out. “I tried to do what?? … Stop making shit up Rell,” Rocky allegedly fired back.
On Tuesday, Relli (real name Terell Ephron) took the stand and claimed Rocky pulled out heat during their argument and threatened his life. “He pointed the gun at me and said, ‘I’ll kill you right now, pussy,” Relli testified.
Ephron says he wasn’t backing down, daring Rocky with, “You better use that shit. What the fuck you got a gun for, pussy?”
“I was willing to die for my respect,” Relli added. “If this is what [Rocky] want to do, I still have my dignity.”
In another text, Relli mentioned there was camera footage of the shooting. Rocky wasn’t having it, seeing it as a money grab and told Ephron to hit up the cops if he really got shot at.
“Now u trynna extort n***as talkin bout i shot at u n shot u 4 times and all type of nonsense, u a phony and u dont have the best intentions, stop texting me n stop calling my manager and call police if i ‘shot’ @ u u weirdo,” Rocky supposedly texted.
Rocky’s lawyer Joe Tacopina claims his client only had a prop gun that couldn’t shoot real bullets.
RiRi showed up to hold down her man in LA court Wednesday. After a brief scare when Rocky rolled up solo, she was spotted next to his mom. Reporter Meghann Cuniff noted she was also chilling with Rocky’s sister.
Rocky passed on a plea deal offering 180 days behind bars. If they find him guilty, he’s looking at up to 24 years in the pen.
