Pooh Shiesty and his co-defendants are facing robbery and kidnapping charges connected to an alleged incident involving Gucci Mane. Amid reports of Shiesty’s struggles and restrictions in prison, his co-defendant Big30 recently took to Instagram to show his support, as reported by No Jumper on Twitter.
“As we fight this case together we still got all the club venues and arenas going crazy,” he wrote. “I’m on house arrest you in a cell they going crazy like we present… NEVER GIVE UP ON US WE GOD FAVORITE.”
About a month and a half ago, Big30 performed Pooh Shiesty’s “FDO” for high school students, giving him a firsthand look at the continued support from fans. For those unfamiliar with his situation, the Memphis rapper is currently under house arrest and subject to several restrictions, although he has still been able to participate in events like that performance.
Meanwhile, Pooh Shiesty’s legal team alleges that authorities are unlawfully confining him to his cell for 23 hours a day. His attorneys also claim he is not receiving the minimum number of visitation hours allowed each month, a situation they say is taking a toll on his mental health.
For those unfamiliar with the case, Pooh Shiesty and Big30’s legal battle involving Gucci Mane also includes Shiesty’s father and six other co-defendants. Federal authorities have accused the group of holding Guwop at a Dallas studio, extorting him, and stealing personal belongings in an alleged attempt to secure Shiesty’s release from his contract with 1017 Records.
Under the current schedule, the trial over the robbery and kidnapping charges is set to begin in February of 2027. The defendants have pleaded not guilty, while the case has sparked considerable drama across the hip-hop scene, including allegations of snitching and other controversies.
Big30 has been released, while Pooh Shiesty was denied bond. The difference in their legal circumstances has continued to fuel debate, particularly amid the concerns raised by Pooh’s legal team about his conditions of confinement.
As the trial approaches, more developments could emerge surrounding the case and the ongoing questions about incarceration and pretrial release. Meanwhile, Big30 and fans of both artists continue to show their support, whether through social media messages or by enjoying their music at public events.
