Drake’s Down Under for his Anita Max Win Tour, and he’s warming up his vocals with a cozy karaoke session in Melbourne.
Footage popping up online shows the rapper running through his set – the tour starts Tuesday, Feb. 4 in Perth – with a chill performance for a handful of lucky fans. He kept it simple, sitting on a stool with backing tracks, serving up hits like “Pipe Down,” “Faithful,” “Trust Issues,” and “Rich Baby Daddy.” If these songs are any hint at what’s coming on his Australia and New Zealand dates, looks like fans will get a taste of Drake’s entire catalog.
Drake’s been living large in Australia, marking his arrival with a video of him vibing to Fivio Foreign’s “Plaqueboymax” diss track. The Melbourne-tagged post bragged “700k for lunch.” He’s clearly enjoying his time Down Under before the shows, which wrap up Sunday, March 16 with a final stop in Auckland.
Before jetting off, he left a heartfelt note for his hometown crew: “Love to all the 6’ers winter months are the toughest,” he posted with a shot of Toronto’s CN Tower. “Shit can be depressing so take care of yourselves and try show love to each other. Be back in a flash $$$OON.”
