Travis Scott just claimed the country’s biggest song.
His latest track “4×4” has shot straight to the Hot 100’s summit, pulling in massive numbers with 16.2 million streams, 2.9 million radio plays, and a total of 167,000 sales across digital and physical formats, according to Billboard.
This marks his fifth time hitting No. 1, following bangers like “Franchise,” “The Scotts,” “Highest in the Room,” and “Sicko Mode” – though that last one kicked off at No. 4.
“4×4,” which officially dropped on Jan. 24, first hit fans’ ears four days before at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the College Football Playoff National Championship halftime show.
The CD single’s profits went straight to helping out Direct Relief’s California Wildfire Response Fund and the LAFD.
Scott made it a full package deal, dropping his Field Jaxx kicks and merch alongside the track, driving fans to TravisScott.com for charity-supporting purchases.
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ hit “Die With a Smile” slipped to second place after ruling the Hot 100 for four straight weeks. “APT,” featuring Blackpink’s Rosé and Mars, held steady at No. 3.
Further down the chart, Kendrick Lamar and SZA landed at No. 4 with “Luther,” while Teddy Swims climbed to No. 6 with “Lose Control.” The rest of the top 10 featured heavy hitters Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, Gracie Abrams, and Morgan Wallen.
