Will Ferrell Teams Up with Eddie Murphy to Revive Fan-Favorite ‘Scared Straight’ on ‘SNL’: ‘Expecto Fellatio’

SNL brought back its wild side during its 50th birthday bash.

The big SNL50: The Anniversary Special saw Jason Sudeikis dust off his Officer Sikorsky badge for a crazy, celebrity-packed “Scared Straight” bit.

According to SNL Archives, this fan-favorite sketch kicked off back in 2008 with Shia LaBeouf as the special guest.

In the scene, Officer Sikorsky tries to set three young troublemakers straight – played by current SNL stars Marcello Hernández, Mikey Day, and Michael Longfellow.

Things get hilariously derailed when Kenan Thompson and Eddie Murphy crash the party as ex-cons McIntosh and “All the Way” Ray May. Murphy’s character steals the show, dropping threats while going on bizarre tangents, mixing his life stories with wild references to Harry Potter and The Nutty Professor.

Murphy kicks it off as Ray, telling NBC: “Well, guess what? When I was a boy, I watched both my parents die in these streets!”

Thompson’s McIntosh jumps in: “And the family that adopted him made him sleep under the staircase.”

Murphy keeps rolling: “Until one day, I got a letter from an owl telling me I had to report to some kind of school for wizards.”

Getting intense, Murphy drops this gem: “‘Cause in prison there’ll be a dude entering your Chamber of Secrets, and he’ll be slipping right into your Asskaban … Then a dude I would describe as Sirius Black is gonna wave his wand in your face and say, ‘Expecto fellatio!'”

The kids start catching their movie references, making the duo even wilder, with Murphy busting out his famous “Hercules! Hercules” yell from The Nutty Professor.

The chaos peaks when Big Red (Will Ferrell) barges in, bragging about prison’s perks – from improv shows to non-stop action. He even admits he’s just stealing the Elf plot and making it prison-style.

“You’re gonna get elf’d in your butt, G,” Ferrell declares.

Murphy fires back: “And forget about your North Pole. What you gonna need to be worrying about is your South pole. And there won’t be no Santa coming to town. It’ll be Santos coming in your brown!”

The big SNL weekend also packed other killer moments: Ferrell and Ana Gasteyer rocking Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” as Marty and Bobbi Culp, Lil Wayne bringing the house down, Ryan Reynolds cracking jokes about wife Blake Lively’s beef with Justin Baldoni, and Aubrey Plaza rocking a tie-dye shirt to honor her late husband.
