Millie Bobby Brown hit back at critics who claimed her recent red carpet outfit wasn’t age-appropriate.
On Thursday, the 21-year-old shared a screenshot on her Instagram Story of a British Vogue article with the headline, “No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks.”
“@britishvogue thank you,” she wrote.
On Monday, Brown showed up at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, The Electric State alongside her husband, Jake Bongiovi. According to Page Six, the actress rocked an Annie’s Ibiza metallic gold and bronze striped embroidered gown with a matching bolero jacket, which complemented her new platinum blonde hair perfectly.
Some think Brown’s makeover might be connected to her wish to play Britney Spears in the upcoming biopic based on her 2023 memoir, The Woman in Me. The film is also being directed by Jon M. Chu, who directed the blockbuster musical Wicked.
When talking to Access Hollywood at the premiere, Brown called Spears an “absolute icon.” Brown added, “I would love nothing more than to be a part of her story.”
