Despite growing “industry plant” accusations, Doechii continues stacking wins.
Just over a month after the Alligator Bites Never Heal rapper grabbed the Grammy for Best Rap Album, she’s teamed up with hip-hop’s first-ever Grammy winner, Will Smith.
In a new viral video, Smith raps along to Doechii’s reworked “Anxiety” while facing a mirror in a gray hoodie. As the Oscar winner approaches the hook, it’s revealed that Doechii is sitting across from his reflection.
The “Catfish” rapper turns, winks, and flashes a smile at the camera.
“Somebody’s watching me…” Smith captioned the post, quoting “Anxiety” lyrics.
With Smith jumping on the “Anxiety” challenge, Doechii’s star power keeps growing. Later this month, the rapper-singer will be honored as Woman of the Year at Billboard Women in Music 2025.
Smith also shared the same “Anxiety” snippet in a throwback post showing him dancing with Tatyana Ali in an early Fresh Prince of Bel-Air scene.
“I’ve been watching y’all and every video has been better than the last!! Love that track @Doechii. @Tatyana Ali remember this?” Smith captioned the clip.
While “Anxiety” climbs the Billboard Hot 100, fans can check out the song’s original version below, which Doechii recorded back in 2020 for her Coven Music Session, Vol. 1 mixtape. Play
