Yella Beezy Detained for Allegedly Ordering Hit on Mo3

Dallas rapper Yella Beezy was arrested in connection with fellow hometown rapper Mo3’s 2020 murder.

On Tuesday (March 18), the 33-year-old rapper, born Markies Conway, was indicted by a grand jury for Mo3’s murder. According to USA Today, Conway was booked into Dallas County Jail Thursday afternoon after authorities issued an arrest warrant. Investigators claim Conway hired Kewon Dontrell White to kill Noble (Mo3’s real name).

Yella is charged with capital murder, making him eligible for the death penalty. His bond hasn’t been set yet, according to TMZ.

Mo3 was killed on Nov. 11, 2020. Investigators report that White murdered him in a daytime ambush, approaching his car wearing a ski mask on I-35 in Dallas. When Mo3 tried to flee on foot, White shot him in the back multiple times. White was arrested and charged a month later and is currently serving nine years for gun charges.

This isn’t Yella Beezy’s first legal trouble. In 2021, he faced gun possession charges after being pulled over during a police search in Dallas. He was also charged with sexual assault for allegedly raping a woman on their first date.
