Trina’s husband Swurv was arrested for an alleged assault from July 2023.
TMZ reports that rapper Benjamin Leon Kearse Jr. (Swurv) was taken into custody Thursday (March 20) in Miami following an incident where a pedestrian claimed his hand hit Swurv’s black Dodge Charger after it stopped suddenly at a sign.
According to the man’s statement, Swurv became confrontational when approached about the incident and followed him to a nearby home. He allegedly punched the man multiple times, fracturing his nose.
Police reportedly reviewed surveillance footage that supported the victim’s account before making the arrest.
